Dr Manuela Barona

Child/adolescent/young adult psychologist: specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I am a Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist passionate about helping young people and families. I have experience delivering a range of evidence based therapies and specialise on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have over 10 years experience working with children, young people (up to young andulthood) and families, mainly in the NHS. In my most recent role in the NHS I worked with families, children and young people with significant chronic fatigue, alongside anxiety and depression.

Over the last decade, I have also worked on developing research that can help us understand mental health in children, including why someone develops a disorder, with an aim to help us develop informed treatments.

Currently, I am also a lecturer at Bath University, where I teach clinical psychology.
